[Oh, look, it's a trainer.

Your eyes may have just met, despite the hat usually pulled down over them. Or maybe you're distracted by that big ol' Druddigon he's walking along with. Or perhaps you're just friendly and would like to say hello. Whatever the case may be, please do bother him.]

[Shiro hadn't been to Opelucid in a while; for the most part, Shiro had stayed near Undella Town, relaxing after training her Pokemon up. Either way, it was nice to be in a familiar place...

Though, seeing another kid with a Druddigon walking around surprised Shiro. Another trainer? Well, maybe it'd be nice to say hello...

So, she walks. It takes a bit to gather herself up, but she manages it when she's a good two feet away.]

Hello! That's a...strong looking Druddigon you have with you. Do you live in...the city?

[outraging]

[The other trainer turns around a bit too quickly. Are you talking to him? Really? A quick glance around confirms that there are no other people with Druddigons in the area. Oh, dear, you are, aren't you.

He not so subtly moves closer to his dragon, almost like he's trying to disappear behind its turned head.]

...yes.

[No "hello" or "thank you yes he is very strong" or whatever. Just a small nod and a single word.]

[Shiro seems paused for a moment; he seemed...nervous. Trying to disappear?]

Ah-- [Shiro is surprised, but she doesn't say anything beyond that. Well, that's a surprise...

Shiro thinks for a moment; she pulls out a Poke Ball while she does, and releases her own Druddigon out from it's Poke Ball.]

You don't...have to be afraid. I'm not going to hurt you. See? [Druddigon's just going to walk up to the other Druddi with a grin; it's always good to see another Druddigon in his opinion!]

[Shiro sending out her Druddigon gets an immediate reaction out of the boy. He blinks, leaning over to get a better view of the new dragon.

And then he leaves his own monster's side to walk right up to it before it gets to his. Blair's Druddigon growls a polite greeting, while the boy holds up a tentative hand for a similar gesture.]

You're a trainer? [But you're not from here. And yet, you've got a Druddigon. That's... unusual. Blair's curiosity seems to have overridden his shyness somewhat.]

[Druddigon manages a light growl back; may as well return the gesture, after all. Though, Blair is kinda interesting from his perspective...

Shiro nods her head.] Yes. I've been a trainer...for a while, actually. [Shiro's face manages a light smile, while keeping watch on the two dragons.]

What about you?

[outraging]

[Blair manages a smile, too. The other kid has a dragon even though she's not even from around here, a Druddigon no less, and that's enough to make her pretty cool in his mind. He leans over a bit again, to look at Shiro past her Pokemon.]

Me, too. I'm... with the Gym here, actually.

[He might've been out when she's come by before, though. Oops. Because parallel universes are confusing.]
